How records are handled

Information collected

The platform stores the name, email address, password hash, payment transaction identifiers, course progress, examination answers and scores, eligibility status, and administrative audit records needed to operate the ordination course. For shop customers, it also stores order contact information, shipping addresses when required, purchased-item and price snapshots, and fulfillment status. Registered congregations are stored with the minister’s account, location, contact details, meeting information, and public-listing choice.

Use and access

Records are used to authenticate accounts, verify payment, deliver the course, enforce attempt rules, record ordination outcomes, fulfill shop orders, maintain the Community of Faith registry, and administer the program. Administrators with authorized accounts can access these records. PayPal processes payment information; this site does not store complete card or bank details.

Public directory choices

A congregation appears in the public directory only when its registering minister chooses public listing. The public listing may include the congregation’s name, general location, contact email, website, and meeting details.

Security and retention

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Sensitive application files are blocked from public web access. Candidate, ordination, order, and congregation records are retained as operational records unless a governing retention policy requires otherwise.
